(Tonights' pizza will be bacon and onion (a RARE treat to have bacon on pizza!) and probably plain pepperoni. YUM.  That stuff is good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Afternoon Snack: &lt;/span&gt;none&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Dinner:&lt;/span&gt; Garden salad with Crispy chicken and cheddar.  Peanut Butter apple.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Exercise:&lt;/span&gt; did about 35 minutes worth during rest time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Notes to self:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Haven't seen ANY progress.  at all.  which is discouraging considering all the salads I have been eating. (I SWEAR I never get tired of salads with Ken's Lite Sweet Vidalia Onion dressing!)  yum-o&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Afternoon Snack:&lt;/span&gt; two mini cupcakes, frozen&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Dinner:&lt;/span&gt; pizza  (Matt called on the way home from work with a craving so I found a no-rise pizza crust recipe and made Thursday night pizza night this week.  Good, but not AS good as my normal recipe.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Notes to self:&lt;/span&gt;  Electricity went out just in time for the pizza to be done and we were without the following day too.  SO I didn't keep track on Friday. Did crunches again today (btw, those were crunches yesterday, not situps.  oops) AND went for a walk/jog once the kids were in bed, mostly to burn off frustration.  All day I felt fat and squishy and weirdly, felt bigger than I was directly after Judah was born. Shouldn't have eaten two sandwiches, but hey.  I was half starved.  Eat BREAKFAST, Rebecca.  Drank lots of water.  Did not exercise. Baby has been born.  I have had a week of blissful postpartum, with husband home and lots of money wasted (splurged) on food already prepared for us.  I have cheated on soda, on fried foods, ice cream and everything in between but now I &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;"&gt;have&lt;/span&gt; to get back on track.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I promised myself I would start getting nutritious again today.  My (probably unrealistic) goal is to lose 36 pounds by Christmas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know.  But, gotta shoot somewhere I guess.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;SO.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'll get a "before" picture up in the next day or two.  (I would today except I haven't washed my hair in three days, my shirt has spit up stains all over it and I don't even remember where I put my makeup.)  There. (NOT.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Went to...post office, library, Walmart, feed mill, bank, and to the church I clean weekly~to clean.&lt;br /&gt;Feel about ready to die right about now.  As per usual, while on my all-day runnings, I gave in to the temptation of getting myself something while out instead of packing myself a sandwich.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Breakfast: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;granola bar&lt;br /&gt;peach&lt;br /&gt;half a glass lemonade&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mid-morning Snack:&lt;/span&gt; none  I did drink about 20 oz. water.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Lunch:&lt;/span&gt;  Arby's Turkey Bacon sub combo.  Snarfed the whole sandwich, but divvied 90% of the fries out to the children. Ate lots of salads and smoothies and good-for-you stuff.  Even still, I stepped on the scale and weighed three pounds more!  argh. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Hopefully those three pounds aren't on Smooch, that I am going to have to push out in the next week or so.  *ouch*&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Breakfast:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1/2 c. cottage cheese&lt;br /&gt;Peach&lt;br /&gt;1 slice of cinnamon sugar toast&lt;br /&gt;Granola bar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mid Morning Snack: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Granola bar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Lunch:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Minty Peach Smoothie with raw egg added for protein&lt;br /&gt;small handful of cashews&lt;br /&gt;one slice leftover pizza&lt;br /&gt;one chocolate peanut butter bar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Afternoon Snack:&lt;/span&gt; oops&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Dinner:&lt;/span&gt; Garden salad topped with a few fries and a chicken finger, cut up&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Notes to Self:&lt;/span&gt;  Was busy canning so I forgot all about my afternoon snack and didn't finally sit down to eat supper (myself) until 8:30pm.  Bad girl.  Also-since I wasn't using my typical canning-jar water glass, I have no idea how much water intake I had.  double, triple oops.  So-in summary, today pretty much stunk as far as "goals" go, but the food I did eat was good choices. I am sure it was over my goal of 50 oz. a day.  Eating popcorn and having it not settle well with me worked in my favor because I only had salad for supper.  That's good, right?  DID drink a soda, but I did it while OUT...it isn't in the house.  Sigh. Totally forgot to record my eating over the weekend---and even into Monday!  Got me to thinking~ it will be too hard to record over weekends, so I guess I won't expect myself to.  I do, however, plan to record on MONDAY's despite my MINOR oversight.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Hey.  This is only my second week.  I mean, sheesh.  It isn't exactly second nature to write down what I eat already! :-)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;On Monday I had a midwife appointment and I weighed 3 pounds less!?!?  Typically you stop gaining the last two weeks or so (though I never have before) but to lose three pounds?  Weird.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Onward Ho.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Today is Tuesday.  Here is what I ate:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Breakfast: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;oatmeal with cinnamon, maple syrup and re-hydrated strawberries. &lt;br /&gt;Lemonade&lt;br /&gt;Totally yum. Left me with terrible heartburn though.  ick.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Morning Snack: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;a handful of cheddar mini-rice cakes.  Water: 24 oz.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Lunch: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Two skinny slices of pizza and five double stuff oreos. &lt;br /&gt;One glass of soda (gasp!)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Afternoon Snack:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Two granola bars&lt;br /&gt;Water: 24oz.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Dinner:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rosemary chicken (teeny bit)&lt;br /&gt;Zucchini Pie&lt;br /&gt;Strawberry yogurt&lt;br /&gt;Glass of Milk&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Other:&lt;/span&gt; about a gazillion TUMS.  Oh man-this baby must have a headful!!  :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Notes to Self:&lt;/span&gt;  By the time I finally got that pizza reheated in the oven at lunchtime, I was beyond starving.  I ended up eating way too many oreos while I waited for the pizza to warm up.  Gotta stop and eat when I BEGIN to get hungry rather than wait until I can't take it anymore. I pack the kiddos sandwiches but I am NOT a sandwich person so I usually get something while out.  I got a chicken sandwich at McD's and felt guilty about it &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;but&lt;/span&gt; I held the fries, so I was SORTA good.  I got a soda, I did, but my promise was not to have soda in the HOUSE-so TECHNICALLY I didn't cheat.  ;-)  Then, we surprised Matt at work and took him out for an icecream. and that got me to thinking making better eating choices needs to happen regardless of the outcome of said test.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I ended up passing the test but have determined to make conscientious eating choices from henceforward in order to try and prepare myself for losing that extra baby weight. (Plus the extra weight I had put on from the last baby, and the baby before that and the baby before THAT.  hehehe)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No one, to my knowledge, knows about this little blog so I figured I would go ahead and make use of it for a food journal of sorts.  An accountability sorta thing.  Except, the only thing holding me accountable is the act of writing it down, for myself.  Which in all truth, is pretty terrifying for me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For the record, I am nine months pregnant right now and have three more weeks to go (supposedly) so this is NOT a diet.  This is me-making healthy choices for food.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Healthy choices for me does NOT mean diet soda (that stuff is REALLY bad for you), or switching real butter for fake margarine, or eating those low fat/diet premade meal thingies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In my opinion, REAL food is not only good for you but sustaining as well.  My choices have everything to do with eating the right AMOUNT of food and avoiding the junk, preferring instead the&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; real food&lt;/span&gt;.  I admit, I like soda.  I like chips.  I love fried foods.  This is going to be hard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But it will be well worth it.  (I hope.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BhOPIFlOZwU/TFnXRggjK_I/AAAAAAAAPC8/f5sVLwLBzU0/s1600/IMG_8805.JPG"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BhOPIFlOZwU/TFnXRggjK_I/AAAAAAAAPC8/f5sVLwLBzU0/s640/IMG_8805.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5501665115593976818" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;So here I am: 37 weeks pregnant.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; (Is it fair to have a pregnancy shot be a "BEFORE" shot?  You bet it is!)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am 6 foot tall and at this very moment weigh (gosh, I hope no one finds this blog) 225 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before I was pregnant I weighed 189 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My supposed &lt;a href="http://www.freedieting.com/tools/ideal_body_weight.htm"&gt;"Ideal Body Weight"&lt;/a&gt; is 160-164 pounds.   Can't REMEMBER the last time I weighed 160 and I have never been obese in my life so I am not sure if that is possible. The Analyzer is an online food storage calulator that does the work for you.  You enter what food you have stored up, it tells you how long that food will feed your family.  This is good for me, because I am just new to this food storage thing and don't really know how much is enough.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://beprepared.com/images/art/giftcardbanner40.png"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 150px;" src="http://beprepared.com/images/art/giftcardbanner40.png" alt="" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I found it very helpful and look forward to using it again.  I do wish they had weights in the description of each product.  I added how much pasta I had per pound, and got an astronomical number of days I could feed my family.  That leads me to believe that they are judging their pasta by larger increments, not by poundage.  I could not find the weight/size of the food item unless it was in a large tub, which I don't have at all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Try it out and see what you think. My name is Rebecca and I have entirely too little time to be doing this but here goes anyway.</title><content type='html'>&lt;div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BhOPIFlOZwU/Saf1EVmSbFI/AAAAAAAAJPs/EDZUQE2oug8/s1600-h/IMG_5095.JPG"&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BhOPIFlOZwU/Saf1EVmSbFI/AAAAAAAAJPs/EDZUQE2oug8/s400/IMG_5095.JPG" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've done it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For months and months I've wondered how I could try out making some revenue on blogging, or in the very least, participate in giveaways that require a blog post without filling up our families' memory-box blog with silly things not related at all to our family.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today, I came across three opportunities that required blogging about a product and I thought, "Well, if ever I were to do it, now is the time!"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And so, Fluffernutter was born. A place where I will blog about giveaways, product reviews, allow advertisements.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And because I think it is sinful to post without photos, I will include photos of generic things like flowers and birds and so forth here-or the product that is being reviewed. And maybe, just maybe, I can score us a few goodies and some chinking change for our curriculum costs envelope!
